Build Confidence, Connection, and Calm

At Companion Animal Center, training isnโ€™t about chasing perfection โ€” itโ€™s about helping your dog become resilient, confident, and connected through positive experiences.

Our Sunday Group Training Classes are designed to support real-world skills, emotional wellness, and joyful enrichment. We believe that with the right foundation, every dog can lead a calmer, happier, and more connected life.

Our Group Training Atmosphere

  • Enrichment-Based Learning: Training is part of the bigger pictureโ€”engaging your dogโ€™s mind, body, and natural instincts.

  • Confidence and Bond Building: Focused on strengthening the bond between you and your dog through trust, teamwork, and positive interactions.

  • Fear Free Certified Approach: No punishment, no force-based tools, encouragement-only environment. Prioritizing emotional safety, choice, and empowerment at every step.

  • Real-World Readiness: Teaching skills your dog can use at home, in public, and through lifeโ€™s many changes.

  • No pressure on perfection: Spending time with your dog should be funโ€”so small wins are celebrated!

  • Very small class size: We keep our classes small (6โ€“8 dogs maximum) to ensure personalized attention, a supportive atmosphere, and a Fear Free environment.

Special workshops designed for newly adopted dogs or those going through major life changes. Focus on emotional regulation, enrichment for stress relief, bonding exercises, and creating predictable structure.

Is Group Training Right for Your Dog?

Our classes are ideal for dogs who:

  • Are adjusting to adoption, family changes, or new routines.

  • Need to build emotional resilience and social skills.

  • Enjoy learning in a small, structured, positive setting.

  • Benefit from purposeful enrichment activities.

Important Notes:

  • Aggression Policy: We do not offer training services for dogs displaying human aggression or dog-directed aggression. For dogs needing behavior modification for fear, reactivity, or aggression, we are happy to refer you to trusted specialists who can provide the right support.

  • Participation Requirements: Dogs must be comfortable around other dogs and people in a small group setting to attend classes.
